Job Description
- Implement the mall security SOPs, policies, health and safety, first aid, fire and emergency procedures.
- Work closely with the senior supervisors and Security Manager to develop plans, SOP’s and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with mall security SOP’s by staff including uniforms, punctuality, incident reports, etc.
- Be proactive, alert and patrol all sites, inside and outside the mall during the shift.
- Liaise closely with the control room to ensure shift processes are properly implemented.
- Brief/debrief at beginning and end of shift and record the same.
- Inform and guide security guards at any incidents in the mall.
- Review reports of events on the previous shift and advise guards accordingly.
- Implement SOP documentation, such as and not limited to – incident reports, disciplinary reports, action reports, permits, etc. and pass on to Administration Assistant for further action/circulation.
- Develop a good working relationship with the Emergency services, Ministries, TMM Management, Tamdeen Group, customers and contractors to gain support when required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Skills
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in security services of which 1 in a supervisory position
- Knowledge of mall security equipment such as CCTV, Fire alarm systems, Security alarm systems, access control systems, etc.
- Well versed in investigative techniques, procedures and requirements. Knowledge of local laws, law enforcement procedures and government regulations.
- Must have excellent organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Must have a strong sense of ownership to deliver department objectives and pursue professional development of self and team.
