Landscape / Agriculture Engineer

As a landscape Engineer, you are responsible to supervise field operations of the creation, regeneration and development of external land areas such as gardens and recreational areas in Tamdeen Group properties and support the Maintenance team in all landscape issues and progress of works across Tamdeen Group properties.

Detailed Job Description is as follows:

1. Responsible for the installation process of high-quality landscape installations
2. Execute proper landscaping techniques and utilize equipment, power tools, small machinery, and hand tools to carry out full-service installations and proper handling of all materials.
3. Coordinate the procurement and scheduled use of resources such as equipment and materials to ensure maximum use and completion of work within budget, safety guidelines and quality standards.
4. Monitor the work progress during the construction reporting to the Chief Engineer and provide support to Chief Engineer on all landscape related issues.
5. Coordinate with the contractor to ensure timely response to all submissions/inspections and monitor all aspects of the landscape works in progress.
6. Coordinate with inspectors to ensure contractors works are appropriately monitored.
7. Attend weekly / monthly meetings as necessary with specific regard to landscape and HSSE issues.
8. Liaise with Key Stakeholders to ensure a smooth handover of landscape assets on completion of works.
9. Survey sites and provide landscape input to weekly / monthly reports.
10. Ensure the timely review of all documents submitted by the contractor.
11. Inform the Chief Engineer of any potential delays in the project completion or milestones.
12. Participate in all site safety training and comply with all site safety protocols.
13. Ensure correctness and completeness of ‘as-built’ drawings within his/her line of work.
14. Assist and supervise the performance of the inspectors and surveyors as applicable
15. Maintain complete confidentiality of all sensitive matters relating to the business in general and Maintenance Department.
16. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

• 6 years with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in Shopping Mall, Hotel or Hospital in landscape supervision on major infrastructure projects
• Must have good knowledge of shrubs, plants, trees, perennials and landscape material and working knowledge of relevant equipment
